We Made it Home Safely Thanks Again Judy Walker

February 24  Lilly and her hedgehog

She is settling in very well
with us.  Lilly loves the snow, which is good since we got about 8
inches day before yesterday.  She will go out and scoot her nose
through the new snow.
Our whole family loves Lilly and we are very glad to have her in our
home.

Here are some more pictures of Lilly.  She gets very intense, and
loves to bury her nose in the snow, as the second picture shows.
After all that activity, she really gets comfortable and sleeps well.

Once again, Lilly is a great addition to our family.

Well, here are the latest photos of our wonder dog!  Actually, she
gets in trouble by chewing on things, but she is cute.
Lilly got introduced to three other dogs at dog park yesterday, all
bigger than she is.  She had a lot of fun, but was a bit intimidated
by their size.  She also enjoys running after the ball and between
Frank and I to get some exercise.

Here are a few more pictures of Lilly.  She is really growing and now
weights about 30 pounds.  It is hard to tell from these photos how
big she is, however.
Lilly has lost several puppy teeth and has at least five or six adult
molars.  She is chewing on her "chew sticks" rawhide all the time.
As you can see from the last two pictures, she likes to "help"
whenever she can.
We got our trailer out of storage yesterday and hope to go camping
soon.  I will send more pictures then.

More helping! May 09, 2007

Lilly got to go on her first camping trip this last week.  Frank and
I were trying out our new trailer and went to Yellowstone National
Park.  Part of the time was spent in the Madison Campground where
these pictures were taken.
Lilly had to be on a leash at all times, but she really seemed to
enjoy herself.  At six months, she is "starting" to loose some of her
puppiness!  She just needs some dog and people socialization so she
won't jump on new people and dogs that she meets.
Frank and I are really enjoying having Lilly be part of our family.

Don't I look ferocious!  Actually I am chewing on a stick.

It has been a while since I have sent pictures of Lilly.   Our lives
have been busy, and Lilly has been growing up, especially the last
few weeks.  Our youngest son and our daughter live in Bozeman, and
they really enjoy having Lilly around.  Lilly seems more gentle now.
At 50 pounds now, we are glad she isn't quite as rambunctious as she
was.

Frank and I along with Lilly took a ten-day trip to the Oregon coast
in October.  Lilly enjoyed the different areas that we visited, but
she did not like the ocean.  One wave got on her feet, and after that
she wouldn't go near the water!  We did spend a lot of time in our
trailer as it rained, A LOT, while we were in western Oregon.
